The Journal of Beat Studies is a peer-reviewed journal that provides and helps generate high quality criticism across the range of Beat writing, including fiction, poetry, drama, autobiography, life writing, travel writing, and screenplay writing. The journal advances Beat Studies scholarship through the application of diverse critical perspectives that address Beat literary production as both complex art and engaged cultural critique.
